Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Following appearances in bits in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. Following 2012, she was appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar shows. When she was awarded an award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 She was a frequent guest on a variety of panel show where she is currently a regular. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was regularly a contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever be awarded the So You think That You're Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to honor her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born 16 March 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who died at the age of three. Bea was three years old, though she did not know the cause of his death until she was 13. In 2017 she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her family were horse and race meeting obsessed. Bea spent her childhood as an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in a racing career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
